Where can I access training?
There are many opportunities for professional development in primary languages. Your Local Authority will have a strategy which includes training opportunities, and it is very important that you work with your LA Adviser to keep informed of all developments.
CILT, the National Centre for Languages, run professional development courses, including residential courses abroad that are funded by the British Council. See www.cilt.org.uk/cpd/index.htm.
Routes Into Languages offer training opportunities at a regional and local level, in consultation with your local authority. See www.routesintolanguages.ac.uk and find opportunities specifically in your region at www.routesintolanguages.ac.uk/events/.
